As a 22 year old living in the American South, I’ve had a lot of run-ins with people who questioned me. My style, taste of music, hobbies, everything has been questioned. Questioned, laughed at, bullied. For 10 years I have conditioned myself to look, act, and be a certain way to avoid such encounters. However, I am breaking free from other’s perceptions and learning to be me. 

After struggling with school, work, and my mental health, I’ve had to learn the importance of doing what makes me happy. For me, that was rediscovering my love for dolls, stuffed animals, and other miscellaneous hobbies! My creativity and excitement in life has exploded since coming out of the dark (I’m looking at you, Monster High) and my passion of helping others has grown into helping others find what makes them happy!
